I am a Registered 200 Hours Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). I did my teacher training in Ubud, Bali with Yoga Arts and Louisa Sear.
/Which kind of yoga ?
I teach mainly Vinyasa yoga: a dynamic and fun flow class, with a variation of asanas to strengthen body and mind. Vinyasa means 'connection of movement and breath'. Through the use of creative sequences of asanas, I will prepare you for more advanced postures like arm balances, intense hip openers and backbends.
/What are the benefits ?
According to Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, it is well known for favoring internal cleansing: breathing in coordination with movement heats the blood that is then better able to circulate freely through the body, the joints and the internal organs, taking the pain and the toxins away.
It also helps maintain a constant focus, calm and relax your mind, release stress and sculpt your body.
/What does the class includes ?
Each class includes few minutes dedicated to meditation and breathing exercises and ends with a small massage of the neck and shoulders.
I am an adept of a safe practice of yoga and believe in our ability to listen to our own body : no body, no mind is similar; each and every students is unique and should be approached with its strength and weaknesses.
If you get to take a one-on-one class or private class, you will be given individualized advice and adjustments, as per your needs. Class can also be adjusted as per your desires (muscular reinforcement, stress relief, concentration, relieving back pains, etc.)
/Can i take a class ?
I teach from beginners to advanced levels and to a diverse range of people : men/women, teenagers/adults, pregnant women (from 3 to 6 months pregnant), sportsmen. I speak fluently French and English.
